As I was entering Bayview the other day, I noticed the new message on the Chamber’s reader board, “Welcome Springâ€. What a comforting and uplifting note. It has been an easy winter weather wise with warmer days and sunshine, but Spring’s longer days herald the rebirth of all things green and the blooms that follow. A truly magical time.
A few notes of thanks need to be mentioned here. First to Bob Prince, Don Gardner and Breigh Soles for finally straightening out our phone issues. It took a lot of calls and time on site to get the phones finally connected to Spectrum. Calls can now be made and received at its 683-8040 number. Also a huge thanks to Marilyn Holte for generously contributing the new picture hanging system in the main hall and entrance walls as well as Don for installing it. For all of you artists who would like to have your work displayed please contact Marilyn Stanton who oversees decorations. She can be reached at 561-5019 or [email protected]. This is not an inexpensive unit and once again Bayview proves it has some incredibly generous residents. By the way, did you know that Cindy Post is cleaning the Center with no compensation? It is her way of donating. Kudos on both your time and excellent work.
