Bayview Community Update – February 3, 2018

Week of February 4

The good news of the week is that there is still light in the sky at 5pm. We are slowly working our way out of the doldrums of winter. Along with that is a week of very mild temperatures. So, get out! Get some exercise! Who knows when old Mother Nature will move that jet stream south to include us in the frigid temps again. Just look at the weather map and what is happening in the Midwest and East at this time, really makes you thankful for what we have.

A notice from Ali Spahn that PiYo and the walking group have suspended their sessions until the spring. I will notify everyone as soon as word is received that the sessions will resume.

Events of the week are as follows:

Bible Chapel Services:  Sunday 9:30am and 10:30am

AA meeting:  Sunday 7pm, lower room

Yoga:  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 9am

BABS Quilting:  Monday Noon

LOU:  Wednesday Noon, featuring Mary Owen’s lasagna. Help is needed with setup, desserts, and in particular, cleanup.

One further note, the case against Norma Jean Knowles for trespassing filed by the Bayview Water and Sewer District, has been dismissed. There will be no hearing on Thursday the 8th.
