Center News for February 2024
It Takes a Village

With the end of January, hopefully we have seen the end of fridgid temperatures. Be prepared! Mother nature can be fickle. But take heart, Spring is just around the corner.
The Bayview Board of Directors would like to extend a huge thank you to all of you who donated to our 2023 fundraising drive. We collected approximately $12K and funds from rentals, fundraising, and savings, allowed us to cover our operating expenses and complete some necessary repairs and upgrades. Donations for this calendar year are very much appreciated any time that is convenient for you. Just mail a check or money order to our PO Box 493, drop any donation in our lock box in the vestibule of the Center, or donate by Venmo. The big project this year is replacement of the North deck which is riddled with rot. Access and Egress using this deck is limited until the rebuild is complete and should be used ONLY IN EMERGENCIES. The estimates we collected to date indicate the cost for the rebuild will be approximately $30K.
