Hi All,
Norma Jean Knowles has been in constant contact with Chief Hermenet of the Timberlake Fire District over the past week. He has advised us that the fires around us are still of great concern and have intensified due to our wind events of the past 2 days. All fire crews will remain in place for the next 6 or 7 days starting today. This includes the group at the Center whose specific task is to work the night shift. All of us who were in Bayview during the 2015 fire here know how critical it is to have these crews nearby. So, we once again ask that you refrain from coming to the Center during the hours of 7am and 6pm. Any groups meeting at the Center please find an alternate place to meet or cancel any sessions that are scheduled though August 26.
