A Very Happy New Year to everyone from the board and managers of the Bayview Community Center. Thank you all for your continued support of the Center. Your donations are most appreciated and necessary to keep us in a healthy fiscal state. May this new year bless us all with hope of a new beginning and end to the COVID-19 threat. Please continue to be diligent, wear masks, keep social distancing and stay at home as much as possible.
A huge thanks to each board member for their hard work and hard choices in dealing with the Center’s availability. These decisions were not easy and certainly not popular, but necessary. A huge thanks to Joy Shantz in offering to take over the Treasurer’s position. Furthermore, thanks for her creativity and leadership in putting together some fun and profitable fundraisers that kept in line with Covid guidelines. Congratulations to Norm Jean, (the Center’s co-secretary) and Dean for being named couple of the year. They both are so deserving for their services not only to the Center but to the Community at large.
